August 15, 2008
Kori Woods is a sophomore at MidAmerica Nazarene University, majoring in music education. Kori moved to Olathe from St. Louis, MO where she studied tap and ballet at Arts Alive Christian Dance Center for 10 years before continuing her studies at American Youth Performing Arts. At AYPA she was part of a select dance team that performed at different venues and events around St. Louis, including a Cardinals baseball game. Along with 12 years of tap and ballet, she has 6 years of jazz and lyrical experience. She was also the choreographer for a student dance group called Poetry in Motion at her church.
This past summer, Kori traveled with a public relations group from MNU throughout the midwest region, singing at District Assemblies, churches, and various church camps. She loves to perform and has a passion for teaching and making her students a top priority. Her love for Christ, music, and people inspires her to teach others how to praise and glorify God through dance.
We are thrilled to welcome Kori to our staff! Classes are forming now. Please call 913-397-7071 to enroll!
